Matthew 25: Ministries is a humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization established in 1991. By rescuing and reusing excess products from corporations and manufacturers, Matthew 25 provides aid to the poorest of the poor and disaster victims domestically and internationally without regard to race, creed or political persuasion.
Matthew 25’s programs fall into four major categories: Humanitarian Aid, Disaster Relief, Manufacturing and Special Programs. Matthew 25 works with hundreds of partners in Greater Cincinnati, across the US and around the world.
In 2022, Matthew 25 shipped over 26 million pounds of cumulative aid and helped more than 30 million people – the most shipments and the most people helped in a single year! Many non-profits are struggling to serve the needs of their increasing clientele. In 2023 Matthew 25 is continuing to provide essential supplies like clothing, household and cleaning items, medical supplies, hygiene and personal care products to partners nationally and internationally involved in a variety of services and outreach so they can continue to care for those in need.
Over 10 million pounds of Matthew 25’s aid in 2022 was distributed to partners responding to disasters including Hurricanes Ian and Fiona, flooding in Pakistan, in Eastern Kentucky and Virginia, the Goshen, OH tornadoes, the March tornado outbreak, and the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. Additionally, Matthew 25 continued to provide long-term disaster recovery to 2021 disasters such as the December tornado outbreak in Kentucky. In 2023, Matthew 25 is continuing to respond to disasters through our core mission of moving large amounts of aid into an area for distribution through partner organizations and through team deployments.
For over 30 years, Matthew 25 has demonstrated a commitment to serving the poorest of the poor and disaster victims, exhibiting consistent growth, maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and effectiveness and helping millions of people each year.
Matthew 25 is highly ranked for efficiency, effectiveness and ethics on Charity Navigator, having earned a 4-star ranking with a perfect score of 100.
