Our mission is to promote personal development, education, health, teamwork and sportsmanship through athletic, fitness and scholarship programs.

Programs

Bay State Summer Games: More than 6,000 participants in 25 sports over a two month time period.

Bay State Winter Games: 1,000 participants in 3 sports competing in a one week event.

Kids Fitness Program: Over 65,000 Massachusetts elementary and middle school studnets participate in this program which educates students on the importance of staying physically active and addresses the serious issue of childhood obesity.

 Future Leaders Scholarship: Six $2,000 awards granted annually to outstanding young student-athletes. To date, more than $250,000 has been distributed to Bay State Games athletes for their pursuit of higher education.

New Balance Sportsmanship Initiative: Every year, the Bay State Games edcuate all participants on the elements of good sportsmanship and recognize more than 200 participants for displaying outstanding sportsmanship during competition.

High School Spirit Program: The Bay State Games launched the program in 2009 to help promote the
Games and to reward Massachusetts' high school athletic departments for their participation in the Summer and Winter Games. More than $5,000 in grants are awarded annually.

Bay State Games Hall of Fame recognizes athletes, volunteers, coaches, officials, organizers and commissioners who have had an extraordinary impact on the people and communities that are a part of the Games. Inductees include
former Bay State Games athletes who competed in the Olympics, NBA, NHL or MLB.

Sports Medicine Conference Bay State Games supports Children's Hospital with efforts to conduct a sports medicine conference for certified athletic trainers, athletic training students and physicians related to current trends and practices in the field. This provides valuable education credits for attendees.  

School Ambassador Program Bay State Games works with high school students from across Massachusetts interested in pursuing a career in sports management. This program provides students with practical experience in sports marketing, promotion and event management. It also helps exposes them to various career and educational opportunities in sports.
