Help hospitalized children feel over the moon

Our mission is to help hospitalized children feel over the moon.  We provide pediatric hospitals and hospice with resources to help critically ill children enjoy life as much as every child should.  Peter and Christine O’Keefe founded Mary Moon Foundation in memory of their daughter, Mary Jacqueline O’Keefe, nicknamed “Moon.” Mary loved participating in arts and crafts, games and other activities while she spent a large portion of her final year in the hospital fighting neuroblastoma, a childhood cancer.

Through our annual charity events and merchandise sales, we not only raise money, but we also raise awareness of the importance of these fun and stimulating activities for critically ill children. We aim to help fill their short lives with as much joy as possible.

Currently, our primary beneficiaries are the University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital and Crescent Cove Hospice & Respite Care for Kids. We also offer support to other organizations servicing the needs of hospitalized children fighting critical diseases or in a children’s hospice program.  Through our support, these organizations can assist critically ill children and their families with additional comfort.  We supply a variety of items to keep hospitalized children at ease and mentally growing during their time of treatment.  Our support typically provides items such as arts and craft supplies, toys, games, movies, and other entertainment and educational items.

Please join us this year in raising $1,000 on Give to the Max Day!
