Maritime Heritage Minnesota

Maritime Heritage Minnesota is dedicated to the identification, documentation, preservation, conservation, and when necessary, the excavation of Minnesota's finite submerged cultural resources - wrecks and other maritime sites - within a not-for-profit paradigm. MHM also 3D scans and documents rare Minnesota Small Watercraft, conducts research and radiocarbon dating of Minnesota Dugout Canoes, and digitizes manuscripts such as log books and photographs. MHM employs the only Underwater/Nautical/Maritime/Maritime Terrestrial Archaeologists working in Minnesota, licensed through the Office of the State Archaeologist.
