Maple Lake-Lake Property Owners Association Inc

A nonprofit organization

Help Keep Maple Lake Clean and Healthy.

Maple Lake – Lake Property Association, Inc. was originally established 45 years ago, in 1970, to protect our lake and the surrounding natural environment. More recently, in September of 2013, the IRS granted the Association 501(c)3 Charitable Organization status. Members continually strive to preserve the pristine waters of Maple Lake, located in Wright County, Minnesota. Your donations make this possible. Contributions are now fully tax deductable under Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.

In addition to your contributions and member dues, the Association’s major funding source is its annual ice fishing contest, which was originally started by the Maple Lake Jaycees in 1975. February 6, 2016 will marked the 41st annual Maple Lake Ice Fishing Derby, one of the largest and oldest in Minnesota, with more than 20,000 entrants and hundreds of prizes. All net proceeds from donations & fund raising activities, go towards the maintenance & preservation of our Lake.

The Association and board members are all volunteers who love the lake. Together with their neighbors, and the visitors who enjoy the water, everyone works hard to keep Maple Lake clean and free from invasive species.

Please, enjoy this wonderful resource, be safe, and don’t liter.
