Cheers For Chairs!  

We’ve received a lot of good service from our current transformed auditorium seats over the past two decades, but they are showing their age. They have always been a bit tippy, are hard to move when the Opera House is repurposed (like for dinner theatre shows), are hard on the beautiful floors of this 100-year old building, and hard on our backs when we move them!

We have found a solution to carry us well into the future. We’ve selected a chair that is comfortable, safe, and portable – but also expensive. 

Each chair will cost $280 including shipping. Thanks to the generous patronage of our past audiences, we feel we can absorb the cost of 80 of the 160 chairs we need, but that leaves us with a need to raise another $22,400 for the full set!

How can you help? Buy a chair! Or two! Or more! Or just an arm or a leg or whatever you can. 

Donations of $10 or more will also place you on our Mantorville Theatre membership list. Donations of a full chair or more will earn you a season ticket, a commemorative label on a chair, and a spot on a “Chairway to Heavenly Seating” plaque that will be installed when we buy the chairs.
