For nearly 50 years, the Mankato Area Youth Symphony Orchestra (MAYSO) has inspired and empowered young musicians across southern Minnesota. What began as a single youth orchestra has grown into several thriving ensembles — bringing together talented students from 19 communities to learn, perform, and discover the joy of music.
