One of our learners typically dislikes having new things in her hair, which can make brushing and styling a challenge. But today was different.  She not only tried new hair accessories, she let her therapist add braids and even helped by placing the clips herself. This small but powerful victory meant so much to her mom and her entire care team. Moments like this remind us why individualized care matters.

Isaac joined MAC Midwest in 2024 and this fall he headed off to kindergarten feeling confident. With the support of his care team and family, Isaac has made incredible strides in communication, self-care, and social skills. One of his biggest goals was being able to express his wants and needs. He’s doing just that.  These moments matter.
