Minnesota Association for Children's Mental Health

Children do not grow, learn, or experience mental health in isolation.

They are surrounded by parents and caregivers, educators, mental health professionals, early childhood providers, health care professionals, community organizations, and so many others who shape their everyday experiences.

At the Minnesota Association for Children's Mental Health, our mission is to promote optimal mental health from prenatal to young adulthood. One of the ways we do that is by strengthening the people and communities surrounding children.

And together, we are creating a ripple.

In 2025, MACMH hosted 19 events and 119 workshops, with 6,300 registrations and 410 conference scholarships awarded. Through that work, we estimate that more than 70,000 children were impacted.

That is a lot to celebrate. And there is still more work to do.

There are approximately 1.28 million children under 18 in Minnesota. We want more of the people surrounding them to have access to the knowledge, resources, relationships, and support they need.

That means continuing to remove financial barriers to training. Creating trusted resources. Strengthening the children's mental health workforce. Bringing people across disciplines and communities together. And creating a professional homewhere the people doing this important work can belong, learn, connect, and grow.

That is where you come in.
