$40,000 Goal
Your generosity makes a profound difference in the lives of those we serve. Our goal to raise $40,000 is simple—help us sustain our programs that work directly with the professionals serving children and families across Minnesota. With your support, we can keep our culturally-responsive, trauma-informed trainings and programs accessible and up-to-date for caregivers, educators, therapists, social workers, and anyone else working to support children and families.
Every dollar counts and helps us in our mission of promoting and pursuing optimal mental health for all children across Minnesota and beyond.
To promote and pursue optimal mental health from infancy to young adulthood.
At the Minnesota Association for Children’s Mental Health (MACMH), we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive emotionally, socially, and mentally—from infancy through young adulthood.
Founded in 1989, MACMH is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to promote and pursue optimal mental health from infancy to young adulthood. We provide education, resources, and support to professionals, caregivers, families and youth across Minnesota and beyond.
In order for children to do better, families and communities must do better—and at the Minnesota Association for Children’s Mental Health, we recognize the vital role that a skilled, ethical, culturally responsive workforce plays in that equation.
By equipping professionals from across disciplines with knowledge and tools for the workplace, we enhance capacity statewide to serve children and families best.
Family Education Programs focus on developing and facilitating training to provide families, community members, and professionals with tools to enhance skills of self-advocacy, navigating child welfare, mental health, juvenile justice, and education systems.
We emphasize practical application and use best practices techniques as they relate to mental health and well-being. Our family education programs aid in obtaining the skills needed to support physically, psychologically, and emotionally healthy children.
Grounded in the knowledge that the earliest years are critical in shaping lifelong health and wellbeing, our Infant & Early Childhood Division works to build a multidisciplinary workforce equipped to address the unique needs of children, prenatal to age 6, and their families.
