 is a Pre-K-5th grade community school

 We serve about 500 students and offer a variety of academic programs that enhance and support learning. This is an exciting time for Lucy Craft Laney Community School, as we undergo significant changes designed to strengthen our academic program for all students. The school offers an extended learning day, providing intervention time, focused on the unique needs of every student, as well as a Co-Teaching model that enables all students to have more than one teacher for literacy and math. We would like to give our students the opportunity to have more in school science and math experiences.. We would also like to broaden their experiences and give them more of an insight of things that are outside of their communities and neighborhoods.
