The Louisville Foundation at Old Crossing protects an historic oxbow lake in Red Lake County. We provide public programs inspired by our history, land and people and the life and legacy of Pierre Bottineau. We connect rural and urban communities throughout Minnesota through art, education and enterprise.

"The Oxbow" --the place--is a wildlife refuge featuring a unique mixed wetland, meadow, and early succession forest.

"The Oxbow"--the programs-- include heritage tours & conversations, ethnic music, boxelder tree tapping for syrup, nature journaling, and birdwatching.
