Living Well Disability Services has delivered exceptional services that transform the lives of people impacted by disabilities for almost 50 years. With 37 group homes in the Metro, we provide care beyond the basics and believe everyone deserves to live a rich and full life.

Why care Beyond the Basics is a key part of our mission.

Living Well Disability Services has provided invaluable support for hundreds of people impacted by disabilities every hour of every day for almost 50 years. Many of the individuals we serve require intensive assistance with complex and challenging daily living needs. All proceeds raised from Give to the Max go toward life-transforming programs and services, providing care Beyond the Basics.

Our goal has always been to bring awareness to our work transforming the lives of people impacted by disabilities. We provide critical, often life-saving services and care for 300 low-income people, all living with moderate to severe disabilities. While a home, food and assistance are essential components of quality care, we strive to go above and beyond by offering exceptional services that make their lives full and exciting.

Most of our funding comes from federal and state sources like Medicare and Medicaid; however, costs are rising more quickly than reimbursement rates. Your generous gift provides help and hope for people impacted by disabilities by allowing us to continue providing care beyond the basics.

Your generosity empowers the hundreds of people we support to live with opportunity, choice, and dignity.

Watch this video featuring CEO, Tom Gillespie; Board Chair, Paul Hillen; Senior Director of Program Services, Beth Tollefson; and Program Manager, Sam Subah, and take a tour of one of Living Well’s Newest Homes. Learn more about the expenses required to make a home both accessible and comfortable.

As you see in the video above, expenses are high, and in our case—never ending. Providing top notch care 24/7, 365 days a year, requires resources and organization. We are choosing a important goal—$33,000—to match the cost of yearly elevator maintenance and installation at our 37 homes.

Each and every dollar has a direct impact on the quality of life of those we serve.

We appreciate your time, treasure and advocacy.
