The Link of Northern Kandiyohi County

The Link is a faith-based organization that started out of the New London-Spicer ministerial committee, looking for a better way assist families that were hopping from church to church in on a regular basis. The pastors felt that they didn’t really know enough about the community resources and how to have a greater impact on the families’ situations. In 2009, a three year Thrivent Grant was received and The Link was developed. The mission of The Link is creating a community where neighbors share the love of God through service to each other.

Today, The Link is a community resource that provides food and financial support to children, families and seniors in need. The Link operates several different programs including The Link Food Pantry, the Wildcat Backpack Program, the Household Exchange, Client Services & Outreach, Tuesday's Table and the Revive & Redeem Boutique + Thrift Store.
