How We help:
Lighthouse Beginnings (LHB) offers transitional housing programs and peer-recovery support services, including guidance and assistance for individuals seeking training to become certified peer support specialists (CPRS). LHB integrates peer support into diverse environments such as treatment courts, fostering recovery-oriented systems of care. Committed to honoring all pathways to recovery—including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)—LHB creates inclusive spaces where individuals can heal, grow, and thrive.
Our Open Arms Community Center serves as a safe-haven where unhoused neighbors and others in need can access urgent resources—warmth, food, laundry, showers, other basic needs like a warm coat, socks, toothpaste or shampoo, mental health support, peer connection, transportation, community, and even entertainment.
We believe that when basic needs are met with compassion and respect, people can begin to take steps towards a successful future.
