Hello, we're LifeSource! A nonprofit filled with passionate and committed first responders with over 3 decades of experience saving lives through organ and tissue donation. We partner with communities, families and healthcare professionals to provide hope and healing across the Upper Midwest through strong advocacy, education, support and medical care. 

In this giving season, we invite you to invest in our lifesaving mission by helping us to expand our Transplantation Science program! We're bringing hands-on learning experience directly into Minnesota high schools, helping students explore the science of organ donation and transplantation while evaluating real-world information through hands-on learning.

Currently offered in 16 Minnesota schools, the traveling program combines classroom instruction with rare opportunities to interact with plastinated organs and 3D-printed organ models provided by the University of Minnesota's Visible Heart® Laboratories. Students examine actual anatomy, explore transplantation science, and learn how to evaluate common myths and misconceptions surrounding organ donation. Students leave the course inspired to think critically, empathize with others and understand the impact of donation.

Our transplantation Science is FREE for schools and we want to keep it that way to ensure there is no barrier to receiving critical and real-world education.
