Regardless of ability or disability, all people seek to have valuable experiences in living a meaningful life. We provide the types of services and support to meet the needs of the individual by offering several activities and employment opportunities within our day training and habilitation programs. Through communications and assessments, LCDS develops a relationship with each of our Consumers that helps to identify the interests and needs for each person served.
In every program we implement, our commitment lies in serving our Consumers and our community as we live and work together. Activities are tailored to each person's skills or abilities. Job opportunities include light manufacturing, office services and janitorial services in both commercial and residential settings
At LCDS, we focus on increasing Consumers’ independence and productivity in a work setting, as well as supporting and broadening their relationships with friends and family. A private, non-profit corporation founded in 1966, LCDS serves adults with developmental disabilities throughout the LeSueur County area and surrounding communities.
