Jim and Jeanie Young started the Lazy J Horse Rescue in 2009 while living in Madision, WI.   Their first rescue was Jebaroo, a gelding in need......he began their mission of rescuing abandoned and neglected horses.  Lazy J Horse Rescue is now located S. of Battle Lake, MN and continues it's mission everyday, 365 days a year.  The ranch takes on all horses from weanlings to elderly in all states of conditions.  Some training is conducted onsite but mainly our job is to ensure the horses are brought back to health in the physical, emotional, and mental areas of their needs.
