At The Lazarus Project, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to communicate, connect, learn, and thrive.

Today, approximately 1 in 31 children are identified with autism. Behind that number are individual children—with their own personalities, strengths, challenges, families, and futures.

Founded in 2003 by parents of children with autism, The Lazarus Project has spent more than two decades helping children build skills that can make a meaningful difference in their everyday lives. Through individualized early intervention and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), we help children strengthen communication, develop greater independence, build social and play skills, navigate everyday routines, and participate more fully in their homes and communities.

For one child, progress might mean communicating “I need help” for the first time. For another, it might mean getting dressed more independently, playing alongside a sibling, safely participating in a community outing, or finding a way to express their wants and needs without frustration. These moments may look small from the outside, but for a child and their family, they can be life-changing.

Our work extends beyond the therapy center. We partner with parents and caregivers so that the skills children develop can carry into everyday life—at home, at school, and throughout their communities.
