The Landing MN

The mission of The Landing MN is to build trust, provide hope and support steps toward stability for those experiencing homelessness.

The Landing MN works to bridge the gap between those in need and the services within the community. We operate as a day shelter open seven days a week from 8am to 8pm. We provide a place to exist during the day, as well as three meals a day, laundry and shower facilities, storage, clothing, items, including shoes and coats. In addition we provide a medical clinic six days a week to connect our guests to medical care, sometimes for the first time in years.

Most importantly, we provide a place to simply be. Our dedicated staff and volunteers get to know our guests and learn their stories. We have the privilege of a being an entry point for many of our guests as they navigate next steps.

We opened our Day facility in November of 2022, and served around 50 individual clients a day.  In less than a year, that number has increased to around 115 individuals a day. With winter coming, we know that these numbers will only increase.

A gift to The Landing provides a place to be, a person to great our guests on their best and worst days, and an opportunity for a fresh start.
