Since 1972, the Council on Aging has been providing services to keep seniors of Lake County safe and independent in their own homes.

Established in 1972, the Lake County Council on Aging proudly steps into its 41st year of serving Lake County seniors.  For four decades, this community based, non-profit agency has continued to offer programs and services for seniors 60 and over including nutrition, case management, homemaker, benefits assistance, and referrals.

We are pleased to announce a new level of service now available to adults aged 60+ or those 18+ with disabilities. In partnership with the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging and the Ohio Department on Aging's statewide initiative, the Lake County Council on Aging is now Lake County's Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC).

The agency also offers computer education for adults who may live in Lake County or surrounding counties.

The agency offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities that include Meals on Wheels drivers, Friendly Visitors, Grocery Shoppers and Senior Health Insurance volunteers.
