La Nueva Esperanza

A cancer diagnosis is devastating, bringing with it fear, isolation, anger, and an overwhelming need for information. But when all the information is in another language, it brings confusion instead of clarity, and frustration instead of hope. This is how it is for cancer patients whose primary language is not English. 

At La Nueva Esperanza MN, we focus on providing support and guidance to Spanish-speaking individuals who have been impacted by cancer, helping them navigate the US healthcare system in their own language. We strive to make sure they feel they are not alone in their battle with cancer, no matter their situation.

Every year we host a Christmas event where we distribute basic necessities and children’s gifts to our more than 100 members to provide joy and comfort during the holiday season.
