KRPR is Rochester's independent public radio station, we are also proud to be the only locally owned and programmed station left in the city. KRPR has always been a rock station. We began playing this music before it was classic! However, we are not a typical classic rock station playing the same 400 songs over and over again. We are all about the music. Whether we are presenting a solid gold, top of the charts hit song or a seldom heard album gem, our goal is to deliver the most music, with the respect and quality it deserves...because, afterall, music is our culture and history.
