The Korean Cultural Association was established in 2006. The KCA mission is to support and promote activities that build understanding of Korean cultural heritage for Korean adoptees and their families, other Korean Americans and the broader community. KCA events are open to everyone interested in Korean culture.  During pandemic times, KCA co-sponsored a variety of virtual projects and has now moved to a mix of in-person and Zoom. Your Fall 2023 fundraiser donations will help us create a robust program!

KCA has co-sponsored performances and workshops by traditional Korean musicians, dancers, and drummers.  KCA has sponsored speakers on the Korean War and its aftermath; travel talks; Korean adoptee history; book conversations and films. KCA has also co-sponsored traditional Korean craft classes and cooking classes. KCA promotes and supports Bystander Intervention Trainings.

The KCA board is elected yearly and is comprised of Korean adoptees, parents and other community members who are KCA members. Board meetings are open, and members are encouraged to participate, volunteer and suggest future events and activities. KCA meetings are offered in-person with a Zoom option.

The KCA membership form is on our website.  GiveMN donors to KCA will receive an individual KCA membership for 2024 with their donation.

Please email koreanculturalassociation@gmail.com and check the website for information regarding membership and events. Your donation and membership will help KCA enable performances, events and activities to continue.
