Kitchen Unleashed

Kitchen Unleashed is on a mission to build generational wealth for underserved women, immigrant and food entrepreneurs of color in the St. Cloud area!  

Established in 2024, we are a women-led, people of color-led non-profit organization.  We believe in the transformative power of food and community.  We are building a food incubator enterprise to fuel the ambitions of aspiring, low-wealth food entrepreneurs in our community.  

In the past year, we've been intentional in engaging and listening informal and less visible food business owners in our St. Cloud community.  You might know one of them:  they sell sambusas and empanadas to your neighbor, or did you notice that pretty and delicious cake at your friend's wedding, or did you buy some arepas or biryani that you're missing from home? Kitchen Unleashed engaged more than 30 food entrepreneurs. mostly women and immigrants, and we're bringing their voices to the table.

They all dream of sharing their food and cuisine, maybe open a cafe or a restaurant, or run a catering business.  But navigating the business side of food can be difficult and confusing to navigate.  Kitchen Unleashed wants to address the challenges of equity in business ownership: unequal access to capital and skills-building, limited networking and lack of mentorship can make it difficult.

Help Kitchen Unleashed fuel aspiring food entrepreneurs' ambition, celebrate their cuisine and culture.
