Kisangaji Project

In 2008, the founder of the Kisangaji Project ventured alone into a remote village in Tanzania. The village has no electricity or running water. She was so moved by her experience of the villagers that she returned to the USA to start a non-profit organization to help support the village of Kisangaji Tanzania. Numerous trips later, the Project has help the village obtain textbooks, school supplies, housing, medical assistance, and the current need is to bring clean drinking water to this village of 2500 residents of the Mbugwe tribe. 95% of your donation goes directly to the village. The Project is run by volunteers and all trips to Kisangaji are funded by the volunteer.
