Kinnickinnic River Land Trust

The Kinnickinnic River Land Trust (KRLT) is a community-based land trust based in the Kinnickinnic River Watershed in Western Wisconsin, which is dedicated to working with the community to conserve and protect the beauty and health of the Kinnickinnic River and its watershed. We work in cooperation with the community, landowners, private organizations, and governmental units to conserve the resources we value – clean water, wildlife, recreation, natural areas, wild trout, scenic beauty, and family farms. KRLT is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization, and donations (membership dues, cash gifts, stock gifts, property, or development rights) can qualify the donor for a Federal Income Tax deduction. Since our founding in 1993, the KRLT has grown to over 600 members, and we have protected more than 2,800 acres and over 9.5 miles of riverbank.
