Journey North Community Church

Our Vision: To be passionate worshipers devoted to God and His mission, helping others become completely committed Christ followers.

The BjorloÕs moved their family to Brainerd to start The Journey North Community Church in September, 2003 after receiving the recommendation from ConvergeUSA Assessment Center to plant a new church. There had been a small group that had contacted Converge Worldwide in hopes of joining a church planter to begin a new church in this community. Looking back no one had any idea how God would use the mustard seed faith that these early launch team members had. The official launch Sunday was January 4th, 2004 with about 130 people in attendance. Today there are nearly 500 people each Sunday, many of whom have decided to make Jesus Christ their life leader since they started attending. The Journey North is a safe place for people to learn about God. ItÕs a place that recognizes everyone is truly on a spiritual journey (whether they realize it or not). Our hope and prayer is that this church becomes a place where you can align your heart to ÒTrue NorthÓ.
