Jingle Bells Telethon
$0 Raised
The Jingle Bells Foundation is the result of 70+ years of fund raising through a program called the Jingle Bells Telethon. The program is entertaining and heart-warming, but the end result is what matters. Each December the Jingle Bells Foundation is able to give food and toy baskets to more than 850 families within a 45 miles radius of Alexandria. In 2020 because of the pandemic, we have made the decision to give recipients grocery cards to avoid the potential for transmitting or receiving the coronavirus. THIS YEAR, we are returning to home deliveries on December 12th (the morning after our telethon being held at the AAHS's Performing Arts Center Dec. 11th from 5p-10p)!
Thanks to your contributions we have been able to also make annual contributions to area food shelves, and programs within the schools that supports students in need. The Jingle Bells Foundation funds are also used to help make contributions to hardship cases throughout the year. Whether it's a family caught between insurance plans and a house fire devastated their home, or a young cancer victim who has no where to turn and needs funds to help with gas to get to their cancer treatments....these hardships funds are designed to help people caught by unforeseen circumstances. The Jingle Bells Foundation is committed to making a difference in the lives of children through our various youth activities and programs...and to help a hurting community through our foundation. The Jingle Bells telethon is an event that involves all sectors of the community. It not only helps people in need, it is a unique opportunity for people to be a blessing to others.
