Jackson Center for the Arts is 'growing the Arts' in Jackson!

The Jackson Center for the Arts inspires creativity and contributes to community well-being through equitable access to and engagement with the arts. We collaborate to offer exhibitions, learning opportunities, artist development, and cultural events centered on art, artists, and art enthusiasts in the greater Jackson area. In 2015, a dedicated group of volunteers pooled their collaborative talents to make their vision a reality.  By August of 2016, this group had procured their 501c3 status, purchased a building, and created a space that welcomes young and old artists and art lovers!  The building is located downtown Jackson, MN and has a gallery space, a concert and gathering space, and a fully equipped classroom.  The building is staffed entirely by volunteers and the community support has been overwhelming.   From classes to concerts to gallery shows, the community is welcoming this new organization into Jackson with open arms.  Of course there are many daily expenses that need to be addressed, and there are so many more things that can be created by this volunteer group, so we are in need of operating support, money for new programs, and funding for future planning.  Please consider helping this new and never-before-attempted effort to 'Grow the Arts' in Jackson!  Thank You!
