The Big Read
During Love to Read month in February, Princeton Public Schools will host The Big Read. The goal is be sure that every student in the district, Pre-K through 12, receives their very own book, with the theme of belonging. We invite the ENTIRE community to read one or all of these books with us! Reading a common book together will spark a community-wide conversation and will begin to establish a culture of literacy in every home. Together, we can be sure that every student has a book.
What will we be reading?
Pre-K - 1st grade: The Goodness Gorilla by Lisa McCourt and Katya Krenina
2nd - 5th grade: Poppy by Avi
6th - 12th grade: Jerk California by Jonathan Friesen
