The Inner Hero

Dear Friends of The Inner Hero,

We are excited to share the many opportunities we have to positively impact Twin Cities youth and families:

- Our Youth Pathway to Civic Education and Careers (YPCEC) launched at Fridley High School with 45 students enrolled. We are connecting with leaders in the communities and school districts to expand this program in 2023. Currently we are also working in Robbinsdale school district.

- The Inner Hero partnered with Toys for Tots to distribute holiday gifts to over 1000 children, with the help of 150+ volunteers who wrapped gifts.

- In September, 80 kids received free back-to-school haircuts and backpacks with school supplies.

- Our 6th annual basketball tournament was a huge success, with 38 teams and nearly 5000 community members attending the day-long event in July.

- We hosted four food distribution events this year, each supporting more than 250 families.

- We mentored 25 young people, and 50 more are ready to be paired with a mentor. Our goal is to train ten new adult mentors this year.
