HELP PREVENT TRAFFICKING OF GIRLS & YOUNG WOMEN INTO FORCED LABOR IN INDIA

Who We Are:
The Indika Alliance is a 501(c)(3) Minneapolis based organization that works to support the rights of India's girls & women in domestic work, and help protect them from trafficking & abuse. We are an all-volunteer organization and this allows us to maximize the impact of all donations entrusted to us. We work in partnership with National Domestic Workers' Movement and Jaan Foundation to deliver critical programs to thousands of exploited girls and women across 17 states in India. Learn more at http://www.indikaalliance.org

Our trafficking prevention work is focused in Jharkhand – the state with the highest rate of trafficking in India. Families who struggle with extreme poverty and basic survival are easily deceived into selling their daughters to traffickers who offer a lump sum payment and the promise of employment. We’re working to change this - with your support we will be able to provide many more young women with life-skills, job training and safe job placements, so they can live with dignity and economic stability.
