When we started Huellas Latinas, we had a simple dream: to make the outdoors a place where Latino families feel they belong. But many still face invisible barriers — language, representation, or simply never having been invited to explore.

That’s why we created programs that go beyond recreation — they heal, connect, and empower. From our first community hikes to our family camps, every step builds confidence, pride, an

d a sense of belong.

In just a few years, we’ve organized over 315 activities, reaching more than 2,780 people, and built partnerships with 30+ parks and organizations to make green spaces more welcoming and inclusive. Yet, our work is far from done — there are still many stories waiting to begin on the trails.
