Help Us Elevate Youth & Build Community

We’re House-Raising, a Minnesota nonprofit using early intervention and restorative justice to keep youth out of the legal system—and help them build lives full of purpose, growth, and opportunity.

Our flagship program, Holistic Diversion, partners with youth ages 10–25 and their families to address the root causes of harmful behaviors. Through mentorship, skill-building, and community engagement, we help youth rewrite their stories.

Real Impact, Real Growth

From June 2024 to June 2025, we launched our direct youth services—marking our first full year of hands-on impact. 

In that time, we worked to achieve:

• 84% program attendance
• 95% reduction in problem behaviors
• Improved school attendance and engagement
• Participation in extracurriculars like theater and choir
• Hands-on learning in pottery, CPR/First Aid, and digital safety
• Community leadership through a youth-led fundraiser for The Trevor Project

A youth is now preparing to launch a small business—and wants to become a Youth Advisor to help others follow the same path.

Growing Our Impact

As we look ahead, we’re exploring new ways to expand our reach and serve more youth. This includes offering shorter, high-impact programs that build on the success of our Holistic Diversion model.

Our goal is to meet youth where they are—with flexible, meaningful services that empower them to thrive. With your support, we can grow smarter, reach farther, and continue building futures full of possibility.

We’ve participated in Give to the Max since 2023, steadily growing each year:

• 2023: Our first campaign raised $700 as we prepared to launch services.
• 2024: We raised $1,000 just months into our first year of direct youth programming.
• 2025: We’re aiming to raise $5,000 to cover our most critical early-year expenses and expand our reach.
