Hospice is comfort care that alleviates pain and suffering, enhancing the quality of life for patients with life-limiting illnesses by addressing their medical, emotional, spiritual and grief needs.
Our Story & COVID-19 Urgent Needs
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Hospice of the Red River Valley remains committed to caring for our community's most vulnerable people. During this time, unexpected expenses have resulted, including: increased consumption of critical infection control supplies (such as sanitizing wipes), increased costs and consumption of personal protective equipment (such as masks, gloves, gowns and goggles), enhancements to technology to support tele-health, and unexpected needs from our patients who no longer have readily accessible family support because of recommended social distancing, travel restrictions and other challenges. We are working diligently to meet our patients' needs and upholding the highest level of care. Our important work continues. Thank you for your support.
