Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

Fifty years ago, a handful of teachers and parents dreamed of a school where children could learn about God’s truth alongside math, science, and art — a place where faith would not be separate from learning, but woven through every lesson, every prayer, and every act of kindness. That dream became Hope Christian Academy.

Through the years, Hope has become more than a school — it’s a family. Within our walls, students learn to write essays and solve equations, but they also learn to serve, to worship, and to walk boldly in faith. We’ve seen shy kindergartners grow into confident graduates who now raise their own families with the same Christ-centered values learned here.

Yet today, we find ourselves at a crucial crossroads. Rising costs and lower enrollment have placed a strain on our 2025–2026 operational budget. Without additional support, this small but mighty Christian school — a light in a hidden corner of our community — faces real challenges in continuing its mission.

A Hidden School with a Visible Impact

Hope Christian Academy sits tucked away on the quiet side of the highway in St. Paul Park, a town often overlooked by the busyness of nearby cities. Our families come from this humble community — hardworking, faith-filled people, many of whom are low-income and seeking stability and purpose for their children. For them, Hope Christian Academy isn’t just a school — it’s a lifeline. It’s the one place where their children can learn about Jesus, receive a quality education, and feel known and loved. Keeping this school right where it is matters deeply, because this community deserves a future grounded in faith and opportunity.

We’ve embraced new ways to sustain that mission. Over the past year, we’ve launched creative fundraising efforts and have already seen stability and renewed hope through these new approaches. We are also working to grow our enrollment through intentional outreach and family connections — and the excitement is spreading. With new students enrolling and families expressing interest, the path ahead looks promising. But to walk it confidently, we must meet our core operational needs — teacher salaries, utilities, classroom resources, and facility upkeep — the essentials that keep our doors open for the children who depend on us.

We are seeking to raise $25,000 to meet these immediate needs and strengthen our foundation for the future. Every dollar helps us continue to make Christian education accessible to families who could not otherwise afford it — right here in this “forgotten” part of town that still shines with faith and potential.
