Holy Family Academy Truth, Goodness, Beauty The Timeless Qualities of a Catholic Classical Education
Saints and Scholars
Holy Family Academy is Catholic, classical school supported by a vibrant community of families and exceptional teachers committed to academic excellence, character development and spiritual formation in a joyful and faith filled environment.
Our goal is the development of each student's mind, body, and soul through the means of a classical education, which honors the different stages of childhood development and their dignity as children of God. We seek to recognize the particular gifts and personality God has given each student and help the gifts flourish by providing intellectual challenges and instilling virtue in our students so they can become God's blessings to the world.
Today, we are 180 students strong with a Montessori Pre-Kindergarten program and Kindergarten through 8th grade Catholic classical curriculum.
Our Classical approach lays the foundation for students to increasing engage the lessons of history and soak in the wonderful canon of great literature so they can start to enter into the conversation of the great ideas of Western Civilization.
We are about far more than preparing students for standardized tests. All students learn from the cutting edge Singapore Math program as well as the basics of Latin to help them master grammar and expand their vocabulary. New this year is the introduction of the Spalding Writing Road to Reading and Phonics program. In their journey toward being true scholars, our students apply their learning through our dynamic fine arts, virtues formation , and extra-curricular programs, helping to strive for beauty and joy in their lives.
We approach all learning from the perspective of the Incarnation and the timeless messages of salvation history. We call this educating for eternity and our greatest joy comes from seeing our students enter into a life of discipleship in middle school, high school, and beyond. Our school's culture is formed by daily Mass attendance and teachers who passionately live their vocations to mentors of tomorrow's saints.
