Hnub Tshiab: Hmong Women Achieving Together is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1997 and incorporated in 2007. Our mission is to be a catalyst for social, institutional, and cultural change to improve the lives of Hmong women. Hundreds of Hmong women and girls have gone through Hnub Tshiab's leadership programs, its networking and mentorship programs, and benefited from its shared publications with other institutions and writers, such as the Hmong Women's Oral History Project, Hmong Women Write Now! and Staring Down the Tiger. Hnub Tshiab is longest standing social change, leadership, and capacity building organization the nation led by and serving Hmong women.

Building on nearly three decades of activation, engagement, and action with like-minded Hmong women and their allies, we welcome your gifts so we that we can continue our programs and to grow our infrastructure so that Hmong women can live their best lives and achieve their full potential, by reducing barriers that prevent them from having safe, productive, and fulfilling lives. Hnub Tshiab means "a new day" in Hmong and symbolizes the vision we have of Hmong women always having a new day with new opportunities to rise up, uplift, and support themselves and each other.
