Creating Culturally Relevant Programs for Today's Hmong Community

Since the inception of Hmong Museum in 2015, we have been welcomed into the homes of our friends like the American Swedish Institute, and Minnesota Museum of American Arts, among others. We did not have a place of our own where we could celebrate the rich history, colorful traditions, and resilient spirit of being Hmong in the 21st century. In the Autumn of 2023, Hmong Museum signed a lease at Hmong Village Shopping Center, located in Saint Paul where we can share with the community and much more!

Today, we invite you, our cherished Give to the Max 2023 supporters, to be a part of something truly special – the creation of a new home for the Hmong Museum at Hmong Village Shopping Center.

Our New Home!

Hmong Village located at the heart of the Hmong community in Eastside Saint Paul, the museum will be able to further provide a place of cultural connection, education, and preservation. However, to continue expanding our reach and impact, we need your financial support to provide the mission of Hmong Museum, providing public programs for all Minnesotans and visitors to learn more about the Hmong American experience.

What Your Support Will Achieve:

✨ Preservation: The new museum space will preserve and showcase artifacts and artworks.

✨ Education: With a public exhibition area, we'll be able to offer more educational programs, workshops, and events that showcase the rich experience of Hmong culture.

✨ Community Engagement: Our vision includes creating a welcoming space for the community to gather, share stories, and strengthen bonds. This new space will be a hub for cultural exchange, dialogue, and understanding.

Your Donation Makes A Difference!

Every dollar brings us closer to our goal. Your contribution, no matter the size, makes a significant impact and is a testament to your commitment to preserving and celebrating Hmong heritage. Together, let's build a home for Hmong Museum that will stand as a beacon of pride for generations to come.

The Hmong Museum of Minnesota anticipates to open mid-November of 2023 at Hmong Village Shopping Center.

Vision
We envision a thriving community with a heightened Hmong consciousness.
