Give to the Max Day: Invest in the Future of Hmong Heritage!

We invite you to support the Hmong Museum's 10th anniversary and the next bold step in preserving our legacy. Your donation today will power our renewed commitment to the Hmong community, honoring the journey that began with the arrival of Hmong people in Minnesota 50 years ago.

A New Direction: Our Updated Vision and Mission

Since our founding in 2015, the Hmong Museum has been dedicated to preserving and sharing our community's stories.

After deep reflection on the changing needs of the Hmong community and the complex evolving Hmong American experience, our Board of Directors has recently adopted an exciting new Vision and Mission. This is more than a simple refresh; it is a pledge to embrace connection, appreciation, and intergenerational healing as the core of our work.

Vision
The Hmong Museum fosters kinship by weaving connections across communities to celebrate our shared human experience.

Mission
Deepening the connection and appreciation of Hmong American history and heritage through collaborative initiatives, educational programs, and intergenerational healing.

Why Your Gift Matters Now

This new direction is our response to the question: How do we best our evolving community?

A Place for Healing: Your support directly funds educational programs and collaborative initiatives designed to foster the intergenerational healing outlined in our mission.

Woven Connections: We are committed to weaving connections, creating dynamic spaces where youth connect with elders, and Hmong stories are shared across communities to celebrate our shared human experience.

Documenting an Evolving Culture: As the first museum of its kind, we rely on your donation to power the crucial work of documenting Hmong history, knowledge, and arts as our culture continues to evolve.

This Give to the Max Day, your donation is an essential investment in the next decade of the Hmong Museum, ensuring that Hmong people continue to be the powerful storytellers of their own history.
