Hedin-Hartnagel Memorial Fund Inc

The Hedin-Hartnagel Memorial Fund provides low interest student loans to Red Wing High School graduates to further their secondary education.

"As a Red Wing High School graduate, I took full advantage of The Hedin-Hartnagel Memorial Loan, applying for the entire amount offered each semester while in college. The program helped me graduate from The University of Minnesota with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Political Science in 2012, eventually leading to my dream of landing a broadcast journalism job right here in the Twin Cities at FOX 9. I have student debt with multiple loan programs, Hedin-Hartnagel was by far the easiest to communicate with during the application process, disbursement, and re-payment. The clear re-payment plan put together by people I had known for years led to open communication, while the low interest rates allowed me to pay off the debt earlier than anticipated. I'm incredibly grateful my high school allowed me to seek college assistance with this program."
