Since 1996, Heart of the City has brought thousands of Christians together across the racial and denominational lines that so separate us on Sunday mornings. Many congregations and individual Christians have caught a vision to reach out across racial lines in their communities and churches and to partner with other Christians around them. We have also had the opportunity to share the Gospel with many individuals through several evangelistic outreach services in urban areas. And starting in 2018, we began to bring both Christians and non-Christians together through our concert series at the Heart of the City Music Factory in Anoka - featuring ethnically and stylistically diverse concerts.
We strongly believe that the Bible calls Christians to radical unity across racial lines and all dividing lines - as long as we are aligning ourselves with the Word of God. That unity, according to Jesus prayer in John 17, is the sign to the world that Jesus is indeed the Savior of the world. So we believe that it's vital that change comes to the Church that has functioned in such a divided way for so long. Heart of the City is one piece in that puzzle that's helping to bring about change. Your partnership is a huge factor in helping us carry on.
We have recently released our new CD Project “We Speak Life” which includes songs with the beauty and power of the Native American-style music, as well as, the testimonies of 6 Native Americans - 3 women and 3 men - from different generations, different tribes and different locations, sharing how their difficult, painful lives were changed when they surrendered their lives to Jesus. As heard in these six stories, Jesus can truly tear up these roots of death and bring new life and hope through the Gospel.
Your gift of any amount will help enable us to give this project away to hundreds of Native Americans.
For every donation of $50.00 or more, we would like to also send you a copy of the CD so that you can be blessed by it and also potentially share it with others.
Thank you ahead of time for all you do to help us carry on as a ministry!
