In the Heart of the Beast Theatre

In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre nurtures creative empowerment through the joy and magic of puppetry performance and education.

Thanks to people like you, we have enjoyed 53 successful years of programming, partnerships, and puppets!

Our programming and financial progress is growing. However, like many nonprofits, we are seeing dramatic declines in individual giving and ticket sales, putting the immediate future of HOBT at risk.

Your gift will ensure that we continue to bring the magic of Puppetry to our Community through Storytime, puppet making activities, Wandering Puppets and so much more!

Curious about the impact of your gift?

$25 could provide materials for one puppet repair. Puppets are available to the public for free at our Puppet Library.

$75 pays for one hour of ASL interpretation at 1st Saturday Storytime

$150 is the cost of one Puppet Story Time session, which is free to participants at our 1st Saturday Storytime.

$200 would support a Summer Camp scholarship for one participant!

$500 would provide support for one artist to participate in a Puppet Storytime cohort, a mentorship and community engagement opportunity that provides artists with the collaborative learning opportunities, supports knowledge-sharing across the puppet and mask arts and brings the joy of puppetry to the youngest puppeteers!

$1,500 would fund a 10-week after school puppet workshop residency at a local school with low or no arts funding.

Not able to make a financial gift? Give the gift of time! In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre is seeking new members to join our Board of Directors--learn more and apply here today: www.hobt.org/get-involved/join-board-directors/
