Granting extraordinary experiences (wishes)

 to young families with a parent fighting cancer

The Have A Nice Day Foundation is a Minnesota 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that grants extraordinary experiences (called Nice*Days, aka wishes) to young families with a parent fighting cancer.  When mom or dad gets cancer, it affects the entire family and we are here to provide a free, and worry-free, day of memory making.  

Some examples of wishes granted for Nice*Days include a Taylor Swift concert for a mother and daughter both fighting cancer, mayor of Minneapolis for a day, a dad with his pilot's license being able to fly his children in a private plane and a mom fulfilling her dream of being a Minnesota Vikings sideline photographer.  See a recap of the day with the Minnesota Vikings here:

Have a Nice Day Foundation has granted over 12 wishes and distributed many Sunshine Baskets for comfort and connection to Minnesota families.  We are a 100% volunteer run organization so 100% of your donation goes directly to bringing sunshine to Minnesota families fighting cancer.  In fact, our founder covers overhead costs and our volunteers work very, very hard to get in-kind donations for things like event tickets, special meals, photography and hotel stays that we estimate we can stretch each $1 in donations to a value of over $5.
