Hajars House

Hajar's House is a non-profit 501 c (3) organization that supports the community of women in the Hennepin, Ramsey, Dakota, and Scott county areas. Hajar's House is a new organization created by a group of Muslim women to meet the cultural, economic and spiritual needs of women. 

Our goal is to provide an environment of unity that will spiritually uplift our community and work towards  empowering women. We strive to support and encourage women and their families by providing a safe, culturally and religiously sensitive atmosphere in which they can grow and prosper.

We are committed to spiritual enrichment, intellectual freedom, and community service opportunities that create an environment of unity, non-violence, self-determination and cooperation that encourages economically distressed women to pursue their life goals and aspirations, especially with regard to adequate education, housing and employment, with a sense of self-respect and dignity for women within the cultural and religious framework of Islam.

 Our organization provides services to Muslim and Non-Muslim women regardless of race or ethnic background. We provide peer- based support for  low-income, immigrants, refugees, and under-served Muslim women as well as survivors of domestic abuse. 

We are a much needed  community organization. We hope to foster a space that will support the desirable furtherance of ascertainable goals. We are here to support you!
