Health Professionals for a Healthy Climate

Health Professionals for a Healthy Climate (HPHC) protects and improves human health by promoting climate health in Minnesota. We activate clinical, care, science, and public health professionals to address climate change through interprofessional education, clinical practice, and advocacy. HPHC promotes climate actions that dismantle existing environmental racism and oppression to create just conditions that enable everyone to lead a healthy life.

As Minnesota faces record extreme heat and unprecedented wildfires, floods, droughts, and more, Minnesota's health professionals are increasingly on the frontlines of triaging disasters and health conditions linked to climate change.  

From supporting hundreds of health professionals to take climate action in their healthcare systems and communities, to bringing evidence-based expertise to advance equitable climate policies at the state legislature, Health Professionals for a Healthy Climate is an essential partner in advancing the healthy future we all need right now and for generations to come.
