A Home that Helps and Heals for Transplant Patients

Gift of Life Transplant House provides “A Home That Helps and Heals” for solid organ, bone marrow and stem cell transplant patients at Mayo Clinic Rochester. Over 4,000 patients and caregivers call the Gift of Life Transplant House their 'home away from home' each year, and their stay varies from 1 day to 3 years.  It is a place of compassion, healing and hope for patients of all ages from all over the world.

During one of life’s most unknown journeys, coping with the physical, emotional, spiritual and financial hardships of this journey can bring incredible challenges.  Yet in their home away from home, Gift of Life Transplant House eases those challenges by charging only $30.00 per night and creating an atmosphere that develops supportive friendships with others facing similar challenges.

It is our hope that together we can make a difference in sharing the greatest gift of all, the gift of life.
