Minnesota FCCLA develops youth leaders ready for family life, community roles and a dependable workforce through service and leadership.Based on family and consumer sciences education, MN FCCLA helps students focus on career exploration, have positive peers and earn recognition for learning.
MN FCCLA offers 50 Competitive Events and 10 Skill Events. Every year, in over 100 school districts in Minnesota, over 3200 youth work on their personal projects, community impacting service projects and teamwork of their chapter. The team of state youth leaders make a positive impact on over 1200 youth at an annual state conference. Regional youth leaders, peer educators and a junior high council lead their efforts in a regional FCCLA structure. Over 70 % of the national STAR Event participants earn GOLD medals.
