Friends of the Richfield Band Shell

Let The Performances Begin!

Friends of the Richfield Band Shell is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. Its purpose is to:
- Assist the City of Richfield in raising funds for the construction and maintenance of the band shell and memorial garden in Veterans Memorial Park.
- Assist the City of Richfield in raising funds for the operation of the band shell including the entertainers and performers.
- Enhance the City of Richfield performing arts programs (music, theatre, etc.) here in Richfield, MN and the surrounding areas.

It has been the longstanding vision of the City of Richfield to have a community band shell in its community park of Veterans Memorial Park here in Richfield, MN.

We are committed to building and improving the hometown spirit here in Richfield, MN by way of a band shell in Veterans Memorial Park. It will be a valuable amenity for all to enjoy in our community park.

We envision this band shell to be a place where the community can gather in celebration of the Richfield Performing Arts and enjoy a musical concert, dance recital, live theater, a movie, or other events such as church services or even a wedding in a beautiful park setting. It will be a great setting for our annual community events such as Unity in the Community in the spring, the 4th of July events in the summer, or even a new event in the fall. We believe music and nature can coexist peacefully, as seen in neighboring band shells.
