Friends of the Hibbing Public Library Inc

The Friends are a group of committed individuals that promote and fundraise to support services & resources of the Hibbing Public Library.

During 2016 we :

• Supported both the Winter and Summer Reading programs.  More than 700 children participated, had a great time, and improved or maintained their reading skills this summer.  

• Sponsored a book and library bag sale during The Festival on 5th.  Used books were available for a donation.

• Helped library staff with the library table at the National Night Out.  200-300 people stopped by our table for information, candy, and give-aways.

• Hosted a special program for area book clubs.   

Plans are currently underway for the annual Yuletide Festival and a new fundraising event.
