Friends of the Hastings Arts Center

The Friends of the Hastings Arts Center fosters the enjoyment, understanding, and development of the performing and visual arts at the Hastings Arts Center, an intimate and collaborative home for the arts where transformational experiences come alive.

This year for Give to the Max Day, The Hastings Arts Center is focusing on raising funds to help reach the next generation of Arts-supporters, while also continuing to nurture our senior community by providing excellent programming.

For quite some time now local seniors have been attending our Free Tuesday Coffee Concerts. It has grown to become a fantastic community experience for people to come and enjoy these free concerts. Your donation will help continue to fund our ability to book artists and keep these concerts FREE for our attendees.

Additionally, we would like to continue to increase the number of LIVE and LOCAL concert performances available for the youth in our community. A Shadow-Puppetry Music Experience is in the plans, and along with that, we hope to bring musicians into the local schools to enhance the curriculum that is already being taught by the wonderful music teachers.

Finally, the Hastings Arts Center would like to provide music lesson scholarships for area students whose families struggle financially. Breaking down barriers to music education so every student has a chance to explore the arts.
